Show Band, Concert, & Nov 17-20 Rehearsal Schedule
CONGRATULATIONS SHOW BAND
Parkside's show band performed "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" and "Down on the Corner" in the SIS school day concert yesterday. The band represented Parkside very well and put on an excellent performance! Way to go!
CHRISTMAS CONCERT
A reminder that the Christmas Concert page is up and running. This page has song lyrics and recordings/video links so that students can practice their music from home. Primary Choir, Elementary Choir, and Show Band students will find their music on their own pages.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: NOVEMBER 17-20
Now that we are nearing our Christmas Concert, there will be additional rehearsals & tryouts for solos and instruments. Students are encouraged to check the posted schedules often so that they are aware of practice and tryout times.

Christmas Concert Page, Show Band Concert, & Rehearsal Schedule November 10-14
Christmas Concert 2014
The Christmas Concert page has been updated! I have added song lyrics for all classes, as well as links to recordings for at-home practice. Any missing recordings (i.e. kindergarten songs) will be added over the weekend.
Show Band Concert @ SIS
Students in grades 4-6 will be attending the SIS feeder school Show Band concert on Thursday morning, November 13. There is no admission for this concert, but the SIS band students are doing a food drive for the Summerside Food Band. If possible, please have your child bring in a non-perishable food item on Thursday.

***Show Band has been invited to play at SIS's Show Band concert on Thursday, November 13. This is a concert for the 3 elementary schools that feed into SIS. We will have some extra practices to ensure that we are prepared to perform.
