Lion King KIDS

• Permission slips are due TOMORROW (Friday, January 15). 
• Students should be looking at their lines/lyrics and familiarizing themselves with their parts before the first rehearsal next week. See the Lion King KIDS page to view videos for at-home practice. 
• The first rehearsal (FULL CAST & Set Design) is on Tuesday, January 19. It begins right after school and goes until 4:00PM.

There are approximately 180 students involved in The Lion King KIDS cast & set design. In order for dismissal to run smoothly & to avoid crowding, we will divide students into 3 dismissal areas. If you are picking up your child, please meet them in their designated dismissal area at 4:00PM.

January 11, 2016

Students involved in the cast of "The Lion King KIDS" will be receiving information packets today. The packets include an information letter/permission slip, a rehearsal calendar, and a script or song book. Please review the letter and complete the permission slip. Completed permission slips should be returned to Miss Gallant by the end of the week. Students should review their lines/song lyrics before the first rehearsal next week. Lion King Update - January 7

The cast list has been posted! Students are now aware of their assigned parts. Anyone who is unable to commit to their part needs to let one of the directors know ASAP. 

After-school rehearsals will begin on January 19th. More information will be sent home with cast members on Monday, January 11th.

Happy New Year!  I am looking forward to making more music at Parkside in 2016.
Stay tuned for updates on rehearsals beginning for our spring musical, Disney's "The Lion King KIDS." The direction team is currently working on finishing auditions and finalizing the cast list. It will be shared with students very soon. A rehearsal calendar, scripts and song books will then be distributed before the first rehearsal later in the month.
