Welcome Back! | SEPTEMBER 2018

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! 

I am looking forward to making music at Parkside again this year! In addition to regular music classes, students will have the opportunity to join various extra-curricular music groups. To name a few....

• Primary Choir will be open to anyone that loves to sing in grades K-2. This choir will practice once a week during a recess time.
• Elementary Choir will be open to anyone that loves to sing in grades 3-6. This choir will practice once a week during a recess time.
• Show Band is an auditioned group for students that sing, or play keyboard/guitar/bass/drums. We start with auditioning interested students in grades 5 & 6. If there are any open spots, we'll consider auditioning students in grade 4. This group practices once a week during a recess time, but it is expected that members practice on their own at home as well.
