Happy new year!
Things are already busy in the music room as we are preparing to engage grades 3-6 students in a "Music Workshop." Over the next several weeks, students will be working in groups at various rhythm-centered activity stations around the music room. These stations will intentionally target specific musical skills and concepts in the form of a fun game or activity. I will also be working with small groups to reinforce concepts and to offer more challenging material.
In terms of extra curricular groups:
Primary & Elementary Choir - these groups are finished for this school year. We will have our annual choir party in the near future.
Show Band White & Blue - these groups will resume later this month.Stay tuned for more information!
The Jungle Book KIDS - the cast list has been posted! Students will be receiving a permission/information letter as well as a script and/or song book today and tomorrow. The first rehearsal will be on Tuesday, December 14 after school until 4:00PM. This rehearsal will be for the FULL CAST. A more detailed rehearsal schedule will be coming out soon.
